Waterford.  Found more interest  in JFK and the Kennedy family in New Ross.  The folks there are building a replica of the three masted sailing ship Dunbrody.  Most interesting.  Very Similar to the Lady Washington that was constructed in Aberdeen WA.  The Dunbrody was originally a cargo ships but carried thousands of immigrants to the States during the famine. The construction is sponsored in part by the  John F. Kennedy Trust in New Ross.   You can visit the web site at Http://www.dunbrody.com.   Any financial help you might offer would be greatly appreciated.

Not needing any financial help is the Waterford Crystal factory.  The tour there is enlightening.  We went today (Sunday) so there was only a skeleton crew making glass, but the process is amazing.  From blowing, to cutting, to hand crafting   or sculpting pieces they do it all and it is all first class glass.  They love to tell the tourists that at Waterford there are no seconds.  If it isn't first rate it goes back in the furnace and is melted down and re-blown.  Blowers and cutters are paid by the piece; they make very few mistakes.
