We left  Killarney and headed north for Limerick and Castle Bunratty.  Main Roads for the most part, heading for Castle Bunratty and the Cliffs of Moher. Stopped in a small town called Adare.   Shops on the street with thatched roofs and a Monastery. Castle Bunratty was, like Kilkenny and Blarney, huge.  Where Kilkenny was restored to 19th century glory, Bunratty has maintained it's  16th century flavor.  The cliffs of Moher   were incredible.  700 feet to the water and storms out of the west buffeted us as we hiked up the trail  to the watch tower at the top of the cliffs.
